The last track from LCD’s 2010 swan song, This is Happening, “Home” provides a fitting farewell. The song’s’ stumbling, world-weary lyrics point towards the type of wisdom attained at ungodly hours, while the track’s jaunty, ‘80s synth pop is both light and clunky, which lends it a goofy humanity.
