New York City’s Smif-n-Wessun -- a.k.a. Cocoa Brovaz -- is one of those those older rap acts that’s rugged by nature. Rappers Tek and Steele enjoy work boots, jeans and face tattoos -- and the sturdy thump of “Monumental,” helmed by Pete Rock.
