Music Suggestions and Discovery are features that mean a lot to me. However, I really am only interested in albums. Getting a single song recommended or available for free download is never attractive.
I realize I may not be your demographic as I listen to a lot of jazz, blues, and none pop music. But I thought I would share my opinion. For example, an opportunity that was album centric would be very appealing. Maybe multiple songs are free but you have to pay to get the whole album. That would give the user the ability to get a feel for the album, more so then a single can do, and yet still encourage sales.
Listening to a song instead of an album is like looking at only 7% of a painting.
