"Perfect Day" Cassettes Won't Listen
Cassettes Won’t Listen, “Perfect Day”
Cassettes Won’t Listen, the project of one-time Def Jux marketing man Jason Drake, eschews the gritty, concussive hip-hop of his former employer for something closer to a job with The Postal Service. It’s been three years since his self-released debut, Small-Time Machine, but Drake hasn’t filed unemployment, instead dropping remixes for acts like Gold Panda and Daft Punk. This work results in a brightened and bigger sound on “Perfect Day.” Drake’s ideal day might differ from most though: the sun gets cut with clouds and heartbreak looms at the horizon. Delivered in his fragile tenor, a once-familiar face “starts to fade as I drift away/ trying to explain it’s nothing new.” -- Andy Beta

Thanks so much for sharing this great music, I've found many great bands using Music Beta, I love the service!
Why does this need to be on a separate blog?
How do I listen to it to decide if I want to add it to my library?
You can exclude it if you don't like.
Geez, Eric. Add the track to your library, listen to it, and if you don't like it, delete it.
I love this song. It just brightened my night completely.
Eric, just add the song. You won't regret it.
