Young Liars, "Colours"

Named for the Vertigo/DC comic book, Vancouver's Young Liars make light and sprightly indie electropop in the vein of Cut Copy, Miike Snow and Phoenix. The latter's influence is especially apparent on the breezy, upbeat single "Colours"—it's a five-minute dance jam, but flies by effortlessly, driven by a bubbling synth line, trilling guitar, a robust rhythm section and Jordan Raine's yearning vocals. – Eric Grandy, Google Play
