JT Hodges debut single, “Hunt You Down,” was a story song that didn’t skimp on details, and the follow-up, “Goodbyes Made You Mine,” continues the trend. Hodges loads each line with a heady rush of images describing every kind of heartbreaker who preceded him, for the express purpose of distancing himself from the pack.
