Magnified Artists: Ryan Farish

As the sun set outside a major live music event last week in Indio, CA, celebs and lucky music fans headed over to Neon Carnival, one of the nation's most anticipated outdoor parties. Sponsors T-Mobile and Armani Exchange brought a real carnival—complete with bumper cars and a ferris wheel—to the desert, while some of the hottest DJs in the country kept the crowds on the dance floor. Music fans were also introduced to a new talent, courtesy of Google Play's Magnified Artists series.

Electronic producer Ryan Farish was invited to perform at Neon Carnival as a part of the Magnified Artists series, which provides career-boosting opportunities to Google Play artist hub users. Drawing on trance, progressive house and techno elements, Farish's music rides oceanic waves of melodic synths with heartbeat-steady rhythms.

Farish is an independent, but Grammy-nominated, producer and musician from Virginia Beach, Virginia, discovered by the Google Play team through his use of the artist hub. With 13 albums and numerous awards to his name, he's still finding new audiences on Google Play and had the chance to play for influencers and industry executives at Neon Carnival. T-Mobile also created an interactive game for HTC One devices featuring Farish's music.
