After a string of breakout UK hits with rapper Tinie Tempah, singer/songwriter/producer Labrinth has emerged as the British answer to Bruno Mars. With his debut US single, "Earthquake," he finds a nice midpoint between the pop sheen of domestic hitmakers like Mars and the rumbling grime that dominates his home turf.
