In teaming legendary hip-hop producer DJ Premier with The Berklee Symphony Orchestra, "Regeneration" inverts the typical dialogue path between sampler and the sampled. The orchestra offers a live reinterpretation of an original Premier beat composition, itself initially culled from samples of vintage classical LPs.
